I hear he was more of a grouch than Pinkie, but yes, just as eccentric. Supposedly he designed a giant coil could gather and release electric current as essentially miniature bolts of lightning, but it never actually was finished. Sadly, the designs were destroyed somehow. They never did find out who did it.
