[The feed clicks on to show Twilight hugging what looks like a spaceship with eyes. Looks like her Magneton finally evolved.]

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! Finally, my very own Magnezone!

[She practically giggles in glee, clambering up onto the top of her newly evolved Pokemon with a grin. The Magnezone waits for her to be settled on top of it, and then slowly rises up into the air.]

True. Do any of us know how to do that? Pinkie plays a lot of instruments, but I'd give her an accordion before a violin.

...I'm an athlete, Twilight. I'd pick up a book on magic spells before a violin. Still, I can't see Pinkie not knowing how to play one.

Thankfully, no. Spike's never been here to my knowledge, and if he ever does show up we're going straight to New Bark to get him. Immediately.

(She might tease the little guy now and then, but Rainbow really does care for him like a younger brother.)

Of course, we're doing the same thing if Pinkie and Rarity show up, but for different reasons.

Of course - I'm pretty sure Rarity might wanna ride in style, so I'd have to pick her up with Dash.

I know that, but Dash is way quicker when it comes to speed than any of the flying Pokemon! I bet she could get us back to Goldenrod in 5 minutes! No-three!

I can promise you that Spike flying is faster than Dash running, Rainbow.

Oh, really Twilight? How fast would Spike be if he had to contend with lots of dangerous obstacles? I'm a Pegasus pony after all, and even I know the dangers of flying too high or too fast.

That's not exactly relevant at the altitudes Spike flies at. He'll be above the trees and well out of the way of any obstacles. Besides, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. It's obvious that flying them around is faster than riding on the ground.

(All of that? Went straight over Rainbow's head, and all she gleamed out of it was that as fast as Dash was, a Dragon-type was faster still.)

So you're saying I can't help bring our friends to safety with my Pokemon?
