15th Spell: [Video/Action for Violet City]
[Wrapped up in the snuggest winter coat she could find and a decent muffler, Twilight thought she'd been fairly well prepared for the rigors of flying on dragonback in winter.
She was wrong. As Spike touches down outside of the entrance to the Violet City Pokemon Center, she's shaking like a leaf from the cold. Maybe it's just that she had him fly so fast... or, well, the weather and how high they'd been in the air probably had something to do with it, too. Either way, she's still frigid, and she doubts her friend sitting behind her is doing any better.]
Th-th-th-thank you, S-S-Spike. [She slides off his back, wincing a little as her legs make it plain how upset they are at her for keeping them in a riding position for so long. She staggers a bit, leaning against her Dragonite before she gets her balance and offers a hand to Fluttershy.]
C-c-come o-o-on. L-l-lets get inside q-q-quickly.
[Once Fluttershy is off and a tired looking Spike is returned to his ball, they quickly make their way inside where it's blessedly warm. One drop off of their Pokemon to be treated later, and Twilight's sitting in a chair with her Pokegear on, ready to ask an important question.]
Video:
So, what's the best way to keep yourself warm while flying on Pokeback in the middle of winter? I bundled up to what I thought was a decent amount, but I'm still freezing!
Also, Fluttershy and I are now in Violet, where we'll be staying until... probably the new year, at least. We're hoping to see you soon, Rainbow.
Filtered to the PGC (insanely strong):
And I realize I'm probably fairly late on this, but if anyone's running an investigation on what happened in the gym and you want my help, consider me at your disposal.

(Rainbow's pretty cold herself, but not that cold; she's next to a warm fire that will eventually die out. And she really doesn't wanna answer that question Twilight just asked!)
(Video)
[She takes a moment to shiver and rub her arms together for warmth, looking at Rainbow's situation.]
At least I'm in the Pokemon Center now. It's heated. What about you? Is that fire going to last?
(Video)
(She glances at the fire for a moment before nodding.)
It should last a little longer, and if not I'll have Blaze get it going again. Oh, guess what?
(Video)
[She raises an eyebrow in curiosity.] What?
(Video)
(Rainbow reaches down for a brief moment and holds up two different colored eggs, one that's partially colored blue and the other with yellow stripes.) I got 'em yesterday! So. Awesome~!
(Video)
[She blinks in surprise, then smiles widely.] Rainbow, that's great! At this rate they'll both hatch by the time you get to Violet and you'll be able to start training them right away!
(Video)
That's great! I'm almost close to the cave you mentioned last time, but I'll just head right by it for now.
(Video)
Good plan. You'll have plenty of time to go there later... especially after what happened.
(Video)
Yeah...I heard about what happened to Falkner's Pokemon. He's the Gym Leader I would've faced, isn't he?
(Video)
(Video)
So, how'd you like flying Pokeback?
(Video)
(Video)
(Though Rainbow's smile is genuine, her eyes can't totally hide a hint of sadness behind her words.)
(Video)
[A little "I know what you're going through" hint, there.]
But my point is, maybe you can keep a bit of it around. Judging by how great riding Spike was, if you could teach them to do tricks and the like, maybe you could get something similar out of Flying Pokemon. Just a thought.
(Video)
(If she was there, she'd totally give her friend a hug.)
Yeah, I could teach them some tricks! I'll start with Blaze or any other Flying Pokemon I catch down the line. I'd ask to train yours, but maybe you wouldn't want yours to have awesome tricks like mine.
(Video)
(Video)
No way! Nothing that serious, maybe something like a triple spin or a mid-air rescue dive...moves that'd really show their brand of style and awesomeness. Sonic Rainbooms probably aren't possible here, though.
(Video)
The strangest part is that Garchomps are Dragon/Ground. They don't even have a flying type component to them.
(Video)
(A beat.)
She still scared of dragons? Grown-up dragons, anyway?
(Video)
(Video)
Still, a dragon that can't fly...doesn't seem possible...Spike can't, 'cause he's still too young, hehe.
(Obviously Rainbow meant Twilight's #1 assistant.)
(Video)
[A point driven home so hard to her when her assistant had pleaded with her to tell him more about his species.]
For all we know, there could be all sorts of dragons out there. The dragons we're familiar with could be their equivalent of pegasi, and there could be earth dragons and magic using dragons that nopony's ever seen.
... I don't think it's likely, mind you, but it's possible.
(Video)
Yeah, don't know if I'd wanna meet the Pokemon version of a Pegasus pony up close. Not without proper backup, anyway.
What other types are out there? You mentioned psycho-types a while back.
(Video)
The full list of types are as follows: Normal, Bug, Flying, Fire, Water, Rock, Ground, Steel, Ghost, Psychic, Dark, Fighting, Ice, Dragon, Electric, Poison, and Grass.
(Video)
(Keep in mind Rainbow, Twilight saved you from joining that melee.)
...That's a loooong list.
