24th Spell: [Video]
Why is there no map for this place... You know, I think that's a project that really needs to be undertaken. Maps of all the various caaaaaaaaa- oof!
[Stepping onto one of the ice-covered floors that covers the ice path, Twilight is interrupted by suddenly slipping and sliding all the way over to the wall on the opposite side, which she crashes headlong into.]
Urgh... that was unpleasant. Alright, just need to pay a bit more attention, let's tryyyyyyy- argh!
[Another step has her legs slipping straight out from under her, and she slides across to another corner of the room on her knees, face first. After a highly unpleasant sounding crash, she lets out a low groan and slides down the wall until she's face down, making highly unhappy noises.]
I. Hate. This. Cave.
[As if to add insult to injury, the Pokemon who's been holding the gear this whole time proceeds to step out onto the ice and easily slide its way over to its hapless trainer, holding out the gear.]
What? Oh just... just shut it off, Champ. I don't even want to worry about that map idea until I'm out of this place, now. Oh, my head...

Bizarrely, the geography of the world seems specifically designed to prevent any such thing. I've heard of attempts to circumvent the planned out routes in this world being forced back because trees grew too thick to even make it through, I don't want to know what crossing a mountain range would be like.
Thank you. I have been here for over two years, so it's to be expected, but still, I appreciate the compliment.

[That's really all she has to say on the matter. All of it. But especially the last part- the part where Twilight has been here for two years. That especially because the idea of anyone being here so long just makes her angry and scared. She doesn't want to be here that long, not ever.]

[And several people have been here even longer. Twilight could send her to Riku or Cecil if she wants to hear about four year long stays...]

[She shakes her head, though she decides that she's derailed the main topic of this post long enough so she'll focus back in on the main subject.]
So this cave you're in, how long have you been trying to get through it, exactly? Surely you must be near the end?

[In fact Twilight's quite certain now that Kayneth and this woman would get along quite well. Which may be a bit overoptimistic on her part.]
We've been in here a few hours and I think we're about a third of the way through, but as I mentioned, without a map it's difficult to be certain. Thankfully, we do have a compass, and our path leads pretty much directly southeast, so at least we can always be sure we're going the right way.

[Possibly.]
I hope you make it out soon, then. A few hours is too long to spend in a cave- though of course I'm of the opinion that any amount of time is too long... Still, do be careful. Walk slowly and try not to hit your head if you fall.
Actually, if I recall correctly, some of these creatures can create fire. Why not melt the ice in your path?

Admittedly that might just be me being pessimistic, but at this point I believe it's warranted.
[Which is not to say that she wouldn't be pessimistic anyway.]

[Marcia lets out a sigh, trying to think of something she could offer as advice, but without magyk she really just doesn't know.]
I take it you didn't bring any snow shoes, did you? They would give your feet a better grip on the ground, I imagine.

I'm kind of regretting that now.

I've heard there's a mail service here. So many more implausible things are possible, so do you think the mail service might deliver inside of a cave?
no subject
The latter probably wouldn't be a good idea in this cave admittedly. [And the former might make use of the Zubat line...]

[She's running out of ideas on how to help, though. Poor kid. Marcia feels a little bad that she has to deal with this.]
Unfortunately, I'm running out of advice. I guess for now, all I can do is wish you luck in getting out of your little predicament.

[She looks up from the gear at the path she still has to head down and groans, but determinedly starts standing up again anyway.]
Well, nothing for it but to forge ahead. I'll speak with you again sometime when I'm in less of a painful predicament, miss.

[She nods her head though.]
Let's hope there's far less ice next time, hm?
[And with that, the video is off.]
