[The view opens to a shot of the sea. Pure, pristine, gorgeous...

And apparently filled with swarms of oncoming Pokemon.]

[A huge blast of electricity rips past Twilight into the sea, striking all the nearby swarming fossil Pokemon and knocking out a good chunk of them.]

Thank Celestia for strong Electric-types... Does anyone know what's causing this? I woke up this morning and the town was practically covered in these ancient Pokemon. I've been doing my best to hold them back, as have several others, but they just keep on coming no matter what we do. Is this happening everywhere?

[A small group of Kabuto, Omanyte, and Tirtouga dare the beach again only to be zapped into unconsciousness by Tesla. The Magnezone doesn't even seem tired when Twilight turns the camera on it, though it would probably be hard to tell...]

We've been okay so far, but we can't keep this up forever. And what if they start coming from somewhere aside from-

[There's a loud cry from behind. Twilight whirls around and the shot pans up to show the top of the lighthouse-

Which is covered in Archen that have just flown down from Route 39.]

The sea. Oh horseapples.

[One of the Archen screeches as it lifts off, and the feed ends with that ominous shot.]

SPIKE!

[Twilight's gripping her gear in both hands as the Anorinth crawls up towards him and Raspberry flails around trying to dislodge it. She's practically tearing up with worry...

When he manages to capture it. She stares at the screen for a few seconds after that before practically collapsing in relief.]

Oh thank goodness... You're okay. Well done, Spike, good job.

[Oh, right, he asked her a question.]

I've seen Kabuto, Archen, Tirtouga, and Omanyte so far. They're all rock and water except for Archen, which is rock and flying. So as you can imagine, they're quite vulnerable to electric attacks.

[It's taking some time for Spike to relax - he's still nervous, glancing around just in case any other dead pokemon decide they want a dragon snack. He clings to Raspberry as they approach Goldenrod, thankfully not running into anything else yet. The praise from Twilight gives him a boost though, and he grins at her.]

Thanks Twilight! I couldn't have done it without your help though.

And that was way too close...

[He releases Mamara, just in case they run into any of the other types of dead pokemon.]

Keep an eye out Mamara!

Um...Twilight? Are they going to eventually go away? Like how you made that Ursa Major go to sleep?

That, Spike, is the big question right now. I have to assume there's a way to undo the seance, but unfortunately I don't know what it is... but don't worry! Remember, there are experts here, including a ghost type gym leader. If anyone can figure out how to deal with long-dead Pokemon, it would have to be someone like that.

[Actually it's Sabrina who's going to eventually figure out how to undo it, but Twilight couldn't know that and besides, Morty probably helped.]

I hope they sort it out soon, coz this is really weird and creepy.

[Spike looks back over his shoulder, and relaxes, as he appears to have safely escaped the Anorith and other fossil pokemon for the moment.]
