friendyousohard | 18th Spell: [Video/Action for Route 36]

[The gear clicks on to show what looks like a room out of an old, rustic cabin, a fairly small one with two benches on the sides, next to windows. Three girls are lounging around in it and four backpacks litter the floor. The view holds there for a few moments... long enough to tell that the "room" is moving.]

I have to admit, this really did work out quite well.

[The gear turns around to show off Twilight's smiling face.]

Amazing what you can put together with a little teamwork, isn't it? I'm still not sure how we'll get this thing over some of the terrain Johto and Kanto have to offer, not to mention traveling between regions, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, as the saying goes.

At any rate, we're about to make our stop so I can show the outside- [Twilight's interrupted by a sudden whinny from outside.] What the... Dash! What's going on?

[There's a bit of a clamor as she shoves herself up to one of the windows along with the gear (and, judging by the noises, all of the other girls as well) and the resultant view of the outside shows a small group of Yanma buzzing by, clearly agitated by the giant intruder in their midst.]

... Well, I should have expected this thing would draw some extra attention. Sorry everyone, I'll have to finish what I was saying later.

[She clicks off the feed.]

[OOC: So, Applejack decided a while ago that the pony group needed a wagon, so she built one! (With mod permission, of course.) This is its first journey, and Twilight will be showing the rest thing off after they deal with their little infestation. Questions about it will be fielded mostly by either Twi or AJ.]

It's true that the best teaching comes out of a one-on-one basis. Besides, you're the one who's closest to my team in strength anyway.

Well, I have had about a year to close the gap... and then widen it in the opposite direction. But don't make that face. Soon enough my main team will reach their highest level, and at that point you'll catch up to me very quickly, at the rate you're going.

Now... I just need the strategy t'handle you.

[She gives her a playful push.]

[And as always, she flushes at the easily given compliment.]

[And then Twilight was in a head lock.]

[She struggles valiantly... but ineffectively. Flailing noodle arms, go!]

I thought that was Pinkie? [She's still joking at her, though. And smiling.]

I reckon she may have rubbed off a bit on me.

[When she gets an opening, she messes up Twilight's hair.]

Gah! H-hey! [She's laughing, taking any seriousness out of her objections.]

AJ, come on, you're worse than Echo!

Y'think so? Maybe I'll just make myself at home up here~.

[Noogie noogie noogie.]

[That gets her to downright squeal, and she struggles even harder.]

Hey come on! You'll take my scalp off!

At least you won't have t'worry about Echo, then! Spook'll be mighty disappointed though. He really has a thing for nice hair.

[She lets her go.]

An' Blossom might shave her leaves off t'look like you.

[Released, she straightens herself up and tries to straighten out her hair, her scalp burning.]

You don't really think she'd go that far, do you? I know she does seem to like me, but...

You kiddin'? I've never seen anypony go nuts over somepony like that. She really looks up t'you.

You really think so?

[She's honestly not certain what to think about that.]

... Do you know why?

It ain't that hard t'see. She's kind, respectful, studious...

[She gives Twilight a light tap on the nose.]

[Rubbing her nose with one hand and the top of her head with the other now.]

So it's because we're alike, then. I suppose that makes sense.

'Course she's a lot more formal than you are. She's a regular princess, I think. Still, she looks up t'you like nopony else. Her eyes lit up like the mornin' sun when you gave her that flower. She hasn't taken it off since!

[Trying not to chuckle at your ridiculous rubbing.]

I wasn't even thinking all that much about it when I gave her the flower. I just handed it off to her because she seemed to be liking them so much. Still, I'm glad she likes it.

[The stinging has subsided, so she stops.]

Still... maybe you could pull her aside sometime an' teach her somethin'? I'm sure she'd hang off your every word.
