[The gear clicks on to show what looks like a room out of an old, rustic cabin, a fairly small one with two benches on the sides, next to windows. Three girls are lounging around in it and four backpacks litter the floor. The view holds there for a few moments... long enough to tell that the "room" is moving.]

I have to admit, this really did work out quite well.

[The gear turns around to show off Twilight's smiling face.]

Amazing what you can put together with a little teamwork, isn't it? I'm still not sure how we'll get this thing over some of the terrain Johto and Kanto have to offer, not to mention traveling between regions, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, as the saying goes.

At any rate, we're about to make our stop so I can show the outside- [Twilight's interrupted by a sudden whinny from outside.] What the... Dash! What's going on?

[There's a bit of a clamor as she shoves herself up to one of the windows along with the gear (and, judging by the noises, all of the other girls as well) and the resultant view of the outside shows a small group of Yanma buzzing by, clearly agitated by the giant intruder in their midst.]

... Well, I should have expected this thing would draw some extra attention. Sorry everyone, I'll have to finish what I was saying later.

[She clicks off the feed.]

[OOC: So, Applejack decided a while ago that the pony group needed a wagon, so she built one! (With mod permission, of course.) This is its first journey, and Twilight will be showing the rest thing off after they deal with their little infestation. Questions about it will be fielded mostly by either Twi or AJ.]

Oh. Yeah... I guess. I don't really know much about that species of pokémon though. Are they usually territorial?

[She pauses, before nodding.]

I see. Any reason you're heading out that way?

Not to the best of my knowledge, but I think all Pokemon are territorial to a certain degree, given how eager for a fight they are.

Badges! AJ needs the one from Ecruteak and we both need the ones in Olivine and Cianwood.

True, but I've come across plenty of pokémon that run away from us too. But that might just be because some of the pokémon I have are really strong for the area.

[She nods.]

I see. Good luck.

[There's a pause.]

I think I'm going to stop trying to get the badges for now. Training for them... well, it's not letting me get stronger fast enough. I need to do something else.

Well, if you're overleveled for the area, that's no surprise... If you want my advice, I'd say you have two options. Find a partner, one with Pokemon whose levels are close to yours or a little higher, to spar against, or head for Celadon and Riku's Training Centre. Either one of those should maximize your training potential.

[Hikari nods.]

I'm already planning on heading to the training center in a couple of days. It seems like the fastest way for them to get stronger.

Get as much time with Riku as you can while you're there, and listen to everything he has to say. He should be able to give you much more advice on training them then I ever could.

Have you trained with him a lot?

No, I'm afraid I actually haven't had the chance. But I have talked with him at length about training and team building.

I see. Well, I'll be sure to try to get as much training time with him as I can then. He's been serious about training for a long time after all.

Are there any other trainers there you recommend?

None that come to mind immediately, but if they're in the Centre you can pretty much take it for granted that they're good.

Yeah. I guess that's a good point. I mean, Riku wouldn't have them there if they weren't.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure how many others there are in there. I hope he's not taking care of it all on his own.

No. I think he has to have at least a few people there offering training. I mean, it's not like they closed down the Training Center for the breeder convention.
