[The feed clicks on to show Twilight hugging what looks like a spaceship with eyes. Looks like her Magneton finally evolved.]

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes! Finally, my very own Magnezone!

[She practically giggles in glee, clambering up onto the top of her newly evolved Pokemon with a grin. The Magnezone waits for her to be settled on top of it, and then slowly rises up into the air.]

I am Twilight Sparkle, Captain of the Starship Tesla! Our mission is to search the cosmos for-

Megasoma, Snails, what are you two doing with my gear?

[The feed suddenly clicks off.]

Aw, you know I'm kiddin'. I love that gal t'death, but even she knows how... excitable she is.

Well, it would be pretty difficult to ignore it.

[She pauses for a moment, then lets out a little sigh.] I miss her.

[She looks down, stroking the little Bulbasaur behind her ear, who coos in response, stretching out.]

This place sure ain't Ponyville.

No, it isn't. It's not even Manehatten, though it looks pretty similar.

It's easy to get homesick here.

Manehattan ain't like anyplace else in Equestria. ...An' that's a good thing, if you ask me.

There ain't nothin' I'd like more than t'go home an' see everypony again. Go back to workin' on the farm.

Fluttershy says the same thing every time I ask her what she wants to do here. It's understandable, really.

That poor gal. So far away from home, away from all her animals. I wish there was somethin' I could do for her.

I've said it to Rainbow, and I'll say it to you, the best thing we can do is just be with her. More than anything else, she's missed all of us. As long as we're by her side, she'll be alright.

And don't worry too much about her animal friends. Her Pokemon are a pretty good alternative.

[She chuckles.]

You're right. I ain't never seen her smile quite like when she's with her pokey-mon.

You'll get a similar feeling with some of yours. Maybe not all of them, the way she does, but a good bond with them... it's great when you can get something like that. Like my Spike and Starswirl, and Tesla here too.

[She pats the Poke-spaceship affectionately, and it beeps at her.]

[She nods.] I haven't gotten t'spend much time with my old pokey-mon yet. I'm kinda... easin' into it, so they can get used to me bein' around them again.

You'll get there eventually. It's not as if you've been here all that long. A month or two and you should have that kind of bond with at least a couple of them.

I can hope, at least. I was thinkin' about challenging the gym in town soon. Thought maybe that'd bring back some memories.

Sounds like a plan to me, but... you should be forewarned. The gym leader's a bit overdramatic.

And by that I mean, she breaks down crying whenever she loses.

Now that just ain't right. Now, I ain't never lost a pokey-mon battle, but I've certainly lost my share of competitions. I know it ain't the best feelin' in the world, but cryin' every time?

I don't get it either. I mean, if that's how you're going to react, why be a gym leader? Why be a Pokemon trainer at all? You're going to lose sometimes, that's just a fact.
