15th Spell: [Video/Action for Violet City]

[Wrapped up in the snuggest winter coat she could find and a decent muffler, Twilight thought she'd been fairly well prepared for the rigors of flying on dragonback in winter.

She was wrong. As Spike touches down outside of the entrance to the Violet City Pokemon Center, she's shaking like a leaf from the cold. Maybe it's just that she had him fly so fast... or, well, the weather and how high they'd been in the air probably had something to do with it, too. Either way, she's still frigid, and she doubts her friend sitting behind her is doing any better.]

Th-th-th-thank you, S-S-Spike. [She slides off his back, wincing a little as her legs make it plain how upset they are at her for keeping them in a riding position for so long. She staggers a bit, leaning against her Dragonite before she gets her balance and offers a hand to Fluttershy.]

C-c-come o-o-on. L-l-lets get inside q-q-quickly.

[Once Fluttershy is off and a tired looking Spike is returned to his ball, they quickly make their way inside where it's blessedly warm. One drop off of their Pokemon to be treated later, and Twilight's sitting in a chair with her Pokegear on, ready to ask an important question.]

So, what's the best way to keep yourself warm while flying on Pokeback in the middle of winter? I bundled up to what I thought was a decent amount, but I'm still freezing!

Also, Fluttershy and I are now in Violet, where we'll be staying until... probably the new year, at least. We're hoping to see you soon, Rainbow.

They are giant cottony dragon birds. Don't know why they wouldn't be recommended.

A Charizard works too, I guess. Either way, you're probably gonna have to raise a new one, right?

Yeah, someone else mentioned a fire type being a good idea. Actually, Riku had a third option I'm thinking about trying.

He suggested a Larvesta. When they're young, they're about the right size to sit on Spike with me and keep me warm. Then they grow up...

And become Volcaronas, which are enormous fire moths. [Fire-typing and fuzziness. It is an unbeatable combination!]

Oh... Why didn't I think of that. Riku and I both got our Larvestas at around the same time.

Vivi is pretty big now.

Well, so is Spike. I'm not all that worried about fitting them on the back of a Dragonite.

We spent a few weeks at Cinnabar. It's between Pallet and the Seafoam Islands.

I named him after my number one assistant back home. He's a dragon too, so I just thought it fit.

Isn't that the volcanic island? [This does not seem like a safe place to go for a trip!]

Well I'm glad for that. I guess people do go there fairly often if there's a gym in the area, so it can't be as dangerous as it sounds.

There could be! I guess we'd need to know what happened here though, right?

That, or we'd have to find out what happened to you first. Neither one of those is likely to be easy.
