[Twilight is interrupted by a Dratini sticking his head into the camera, curious.]

Spike, cut that out. Um... and if the other Spike is seeing this, I promise, I named him after you, he's not a replacement.

Speaking of people listening to this, can anypony tell me if there is an Applejack, a Fluttershy, a Rarity, a Rainbow Dash, or a Pinkie Pie around? They're all very close friends of mine and I'd very much like to get in touch with them. As for me, I'm Twilight Sparkle.

I guess that's all I have for now...

Wait, no. One more question. How do you humans walk with two legs? I feel like I'm going to fall flat on my face!

Well that's actually not too many. About the size of a small village. But to transport that many, ah, people from their own worlds to here, and change their form if necessary... that's extraordinary. We're dealing with something truly major here.

If we count how many people have come to this place, I would think of a much larger number, however, many are sent back home after a while, so the population never truly grows that much even if we see plenty of new arrivals.

I don't think anybody has found such a pattern, most times it seems to be done at random.

That doesn't make any sense, though. Surely the people who are kept here would be here for a reason.

I've found that many things here don't seem to make any sense.

Of course, there could be some deeper motive we cannot see or understand, but at the time, it's better to work on the assumption of things being just very random. In that way, you won't be too surprised when everything starts being strange.

I am not particularly fond of "random things" either, but sadly it is sometimes the best way to preserve your sanity.

But about your trip, you should be in New Bark Town at the time, right?

That's correct. I've been told my objective is to train the Pokemon I've received, which for the record is a Dratini, capture more of them to form a team, and eventually challenge the "Gym Leaders" of the region.

That much is correct. Cherrygrove town is the next spot in your trip, it's about three days distance from New Bark by walking.

You should have more than enough time to get used to traveling during that time.

It can be a little dangerous to go alone, so if you can't move with a group, please make sure of having your pokémon close by.
