[The gear clicks on to reveal Twilight sitting next to a hospital bed, staring intently at a sleeping Fluttershy. She turns to the camera right away, concern and questions in her expression.]

Hey... does anyone have any advice for taking care of a person in a coma?

[Realizing pretty quickly how worrisome this sounds, she quickly amends her statement.]

Don't worry too much, I'm pretty sure this is just the result of her gaining new memories from our home... it happened to another friend of mine a while ago. But her body still needs to be taken care of while that's happening, and if what I heard from the others last time is accurate, that'll take about a week. So I'd like to know as much as I can.

And while I'm at it, has this happened to anyone else here, or a friend? I'd appreciate anyone willing to share their experiences.

Oh, and to any other friends of Fluttershy... she'll be back soon, I promise.

Oh...hi. I don't know what to do...well, I think you're not supposed to try and remove their brain and put it in a robot body because that just causes a lot of problems. A lot. [Based on a true story! Nobita has weird adventures.]

Fluttershy is really going to be fine, right? Once she wakes up, she'll be normal? I mean, I haven't seen this happen before...

Um...once I met someone who did that with his son. Because apparently his falling into a coma had something to do with his body not working right! But then he went around in that robot body and did a bunch of bad stuff, but in the end he turned good again, but then he nearly died in an explosion, but by then his real body had been fixed so his brain got put back in there!

And that's where the story of Pinocchio comes from!

[The amount of things wrong in that recounting just makes Twilight stare in utter and complete confusion. She tries to say something in response but her brain has been utterly shut down by the absurdity and horror of what she's hearing...

Then she remembers Discord. That kind of jars her out of it.]

I don't really know. I know it can happen, like I said another friend of mine had it happen to them not long after I got here. But I have no idea what the statistics are. That's kind of why I'm asking.

I'm... not really too sure Twilight. Umm... are you two near a pokémon center or a hospital? I'm sure they might need to do stuff to make sure she's okay since she can't eat.

Yes, I brought her into the Center right away when it happened. They say she'll be alright until she wakes up, it's just... well they have no idea when that will be. There's no medical explanation for it happening.

But at least if she's there, they should be able to take care of everything that needs to be done, right?

That's just it. I don't know how often this sort of thing happens. If it hadn't been for it happening with Rarity earlier, I wouldn't have the slightest idea what was going on.

It seems like it. They say she should be alright, and she's in the care of professionals.

That's horrible. I hope they figure out what's really causing this soon.

That's actually the strangest part about it. I asked the doctors here at the Center, and they said that medically speaking, she's perfectly fine.

[oh... that is weird. the only other coma case (excluding his, since no one knew of it) was when a friend of his was found out as a mole in TR.]

Then there's nothing you can really do. Just... be there for her when she wakes up.

[She glances away from the camera for a bit, her composure cracking enough for her to bite her lip as she looks at her sleeping friend.]

As far as I know, it usually takes a week for them to come back, you're right on that. Usually they come back with new memories from home, so you may have some catching up to do with her...

I've had this happen to a few of my friends before, and the nurses in the pokémon center do know how to deal with these comas quite well.

Yes, I've seen it happen several times to others too. You shouldn't worry too much, I'm sure she will be back soon, maybe with some nice stories to tell about your home.

[Point of fact, a couple of tears she's been holding back are starting to leak out in relief. Yeah, she was way more worried than she wanted anyone to know.]
