Tower- Tower no!

[An enormous roar accompanies the sudden rush of sand by the lens of the Pokegear as an enormous Tyranitar begins stomping around, roaring at something that can't be seen through the sandstorm. Twilight backs up a few steps, holding her arm in front of her face as the sand threatens to blind her.]

Gah, it's everywhere... Tower, stop! It's just a-

[With another roar, the hulking monstrosity sends the object of its rage hurling over its shoulder past Twilight.]

... Tentacool.

[The hapless jellyfish is forgotten already, though, as Tower seems to have taken the opportunity to just start stomping around wildly, roaring challenges at what appears to be the world at large.]

Oh by Celestia's mane... When I get the sand out of my eyes you are going in your ball for a week!

I'm fine! It's just taking longer than I thought to get all the sand out of my hair. So yes, fine, but, uh... we kind of forgot something.

I don't have any clothes.

Well if I were staying here, it wouldn't be one, but I promised I'd meet Rarity for a massage after we were done getting clean, and honestly I could really use it. And if I step outside the way I am now...

I've got some extra clothes, if you wanna borrow 'em. Or I could go to your room an' grab some.

You have no idea how stiff my muscles are after dealing with that overgrown rock monster.

I don't mind borrowing your clothes if you're willing. That'd make things easier, in fact. Thanks.

[She chuckles.]

They probably look better on you, anyway.

You just say that because you wish they'd let you run around naked.

[And with that the door opens and she comes out of the bathroom toweling her hair off.]

I'm surprised you don't lounge around the wagon nude.

[She sighs.]

We could see about getting curtains. Nice thick ones.

[She plops down in a chair and leans back to relax.]

And I'm sure she'd understand. Hay, she'd probably say "better naked than some of the atrocious things she wears!"

I'm amazed she hasn't forced her way into it yet.

Probably been too excited by all the new clothing options she can make here. I mean, I reckon I can understand clothes, but why in tarnation would you want to wear more clothes under your clothes?

Well in the case of those "bra" devices it's apparently mostly for support. If your mammary glands are large enough they can be too heavy for your back to support properly and the bra is supposed to help with that.

I, obviously, don't need one. You probably have a strong enough back not to need to worry.

...Poor Fluttershy. Her back must've been killin' her.

Actually, I think she wore them. I could be wrong about that though, I didn't pay all that much attention.

She did. Just not t'bed, but I reckon that doesn't mean much when you're layin' down.

No, I don't think it would. The weight would just settle on your chest and wouldn't pull on your back at all. Or on the bed if you sleep on your side or front.

She mostly slept on her back, at least while I was around.

Either way, I doubt it would have been an issue. But yes, that's why they wear those.

As for the bottom parts, your guess is as good as mine. I guess they just really don't want to risk anyone seeing their flanks.
