[The video clicks on to show a flexing, posing, preening Heracross standing in front of a fainted Miltank. The video focuses on that for about five seconds before shifting over a bit, to the irritation of the Heracross, who starts yammering angrily.

But the cameramon seems much more interested in Twilight, who is holding her hands up in a disarming gesture.] Now, just... calm down, okay? You put up a great fight, there's no reason to be-

You wiped out two of my Pokemon in one hit each!

[Twilight winces.] Well, Megasoma does have a type advantage, and... he's not known for holding back-

He's a bully! And you're a bully!

[She looks very visibly hurt at that.] I... I really don't think-

I can't believe they let people like you compete in the Pokemon League! You should be disqualified! You should... You should... [The camera wobbles a bit, turning to show Whitney about to burst into a state of tears.]

Now, hang on, there's no need to... I mean, please don't... Um... Can't you... Oh no, what now...?

[Whitney inhales deeply, about to start wailing.]

Er... Fluttershy, I choose you!

[Fluttershy stumbles into view of the camera right before Twilight calls out:] And turn that off, Sapphire!

[The screen goes black.]

[A few moments later, Twilight and Fluttershy are sitting out on a bench, Twilight staring at her new plain badge. She looks pretty down for someone who just won a gym badge.]

... I'm sorry, Fluttershy.

Well, to be fair to her, I did kind of...humiliate her. Or at least Megasoma did. He's such a showboater, I don't know what to do with him sometimes.

Yeah, I was watching some of the previous videos of people beating her to try and figure out how to make her... not do that, but there just didn't seem to be any real way.

Aside from a couple people who took her on a date, but... somehow I don't think she'd be interested in me that way.

Fluttershy said the same thing. She compared her to a friend of ours, Rainbow Dash. Whenever she loses she'll go off an mope somewhere. Whitney must prefer the more... direct approach.

Being a gym leader inspires a lot of pride, so losing probably bruises it, yes. Especially in a world so heavily based around these battles between animals.

Although that doesn't really explain why she would choose to act out like that. Do we know how long she's been a gym leader?

As far as I've been told, yes. She doesn't seem to take it very well when she loses... despite, or perhaps because of, the fact that as a gym leader, it's something that happens to her a lot.

... I really have to question if this was the right career path for her.

Yeah, I've seen her do it to others over the network before, and I thought I was prepared for it, but when she actually started doing that right in front of me... I don't know, it was just so... overwhelming. I couldn't help but feel like the whole thing really was my fault.
