Hmm. Maybe it's speaking the Pokémon equivalent of binary.

[It's said jokingly, but hey, it could be true.]

Guess Rotoms could be another option, or Porygons. Not exactly metallic, but they do have a whole lot to do with machinery.

[Moving on, he takes a few moments to ponder Twilight's next topic. Elekid, huh? His brow furrows, and he places a hand against his chin.]

Anyway, if you're going for an Elekid, the first thing you'll want to do is deal with that ground type weakness. Ice, Grass, and Water all get the job done, but I'd personally go with water. Fewer weaknesses, for one. And since Electivire's got a focus on speed and power, you might want some bulk to back it up. Vaporeon's not a bad pick. They're small, but they take hits like a tank. Then there's Swampert-- only one weakness, and it's easy to cover. Heck, I think Electivire can pick up Fire Punch.

[Whew, he started to ramble there a little. It's been a while since he's really delved into strategies, but it's kind of fun.]
