19th Spell: [Video]

[The first thing the camera shows when the feed clicks on is the dopey face of a Slowbro. Snails peers into the lens for a few moments before very, very slowly winking at the gear and then pulling his head out of the way, showing the view of Twilight and Applejack sitting on a dock, fishing poles in hand. They're talking about something, but it's hard to hear with how far back the gear is.

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie, sporting a huge grin on her face (and slitted eyes that might make people who know both Pinkie Pie and Zoroarks wonder if this is the genuine article), starts sneaking up on them. Snails pops his head back in and raises a finger to his mouth in a shushing gesture as the other former pony gets closer to the two.

Suddenly AJ's line starts tugging. The two girls begin talking eagerly and excitedly enough to completely miss the third one sneaking up behind them. As Applejack tries to pull up her catch, Pinkie reaches out...

And promptly shoves them both off the pier, yelping. They fall out of the water and start shouting angrily as Pinkie Pie giggles merrily at them, then frolics off as they swim out after her. Twilight, however, stops when she reaches the shore and sees Snails and her gear. Growling something under her breath, she stalks over and picks up the device, glaring at it as she swipes her soaked bangs out of her eyes.]

There's two lessons to take from this. One, pay attention to your surroundings. Two, if you have Pokemon or friends who are prone to pranks, make sure they aren't left alone when you're trying to relax.

Now the question is, did he team up with the actual Pinkie or one of the Zoroarks we have...?

[Grumbling, Twilight turns off the gear as she stalks off to discipline some Pokemon and possibly a fellow pony.]

It's nothing I can't handle. I may be on the weak side, but you're still supporting most of your own weight. Now if it were both legs, we'd be in trouble.

[She tosses out another Pokeball, and out pops her Shiny Golurk. With a sparkle, Robo looms over the two for a moment before seeing AJ's leg. Immediately, it gets down on one knee and extends its arms.]

This is probably the perfect occasion to use Robo here.

[AJ's eyes widen at the massive sparkling creature.]

...I'll never get used t'seeing this feller.

It's amazing, isn't it? Between Robo here and Tesla I really do have some pretty impressive automaton-like Pokemon.

[She guides Applejack over to Robo, who promptly scoops her up like she weighs nothing and rises to its full (enormous) height.]

There. Robo can carry you there effortlessly.

A-alright big guy. You be careful not t'drop me, alright?

[Man, this is kinda embarrassing...]

[She's still scowling though.]

Still, I'm not really inclined to let Snails, at least, get away with it. He does this sort of thing way too often... I think he takes after the person who gave him to me.

[Robo responds with a cheerful sounding hum.]

No worries there, Applejack. If there's one thing Robo loves doing, it's being helpful. If I give him the task of carrying you, he'll give it his all.

[There's an agreeing crackle from Robo, who proceeds to start marching over to the center with Twilight at its side, not quite oblivious to her friend's embarrassment (she could hardly fail to notice the blush after all) but deciding not to draw attention to it.]

Like a giant robot Spike, huh? [She rubs his arm. Good boy. No dropping.]

(Rainbow took a quick moment to recall Trickster before snorting softly at Twilight's 'accusation.')

Puh-lease! It was all in good fun, I'm sure he didn't mean for anyone to get hurt and just because I gave him to you doesn't mean anything! You don't see Daring try to make me read books about egghead professors, do you?

... Well, yes, I guess so, but don't make that comparison around Spike, okay? He's already sensitive about me having named my Dragonite after him.

[Merging from the water, Pinkie's head rises up rather slowly as if she's coming from the ocean's deep wearing a snorkel and goggles. Pinkie spits her snorkel out waves at her fellow ponies either in the water or out.]

Hey girls! You know, you'd swim better if the clothes were off!

[The feed is definitely funny. Pranks are what Jack DOES, after all. Still...]

I give it 7 out of 10. Good use of surprise, but the best pranks involve not getting caught.

[At the time of the prank, Sasuke had been sitting further off on another dock -- a habit for him, one he's had for a long time. He doesn't notice that his Dratini had started to float away towards the commotion further down the beach, even though he saw "Pinkie Pie" pulling that stunt on those two girls. For some reason it seems off, but he doesn't think too much about it at the moment.

By the time he does notice that his Dratini's gone though, she's already floating around Twilight and making a curious noise at her, almost as if asking what's going on. Twilight and Applejack are new people too, and she wants to know if the new people are nice.

So enjoy the three foot long dragon circling you, Twilight. It won't last too long.]
