17th Spell: [Video/Action for Ponies] (Forward dated to Saturday morning)

[The gear clicks on in the middle of a room in the Pokemon Center. Someone's clearly using it, since the sheets are rumpled and the monitoring gear seems to have seen recent use, but no one's in the bed at the moment.

There's a splashing sound nearby, muffled by a door. The gear is moving very, very slowly towards that door.]

Mmmmmmffff... huh?

[Someone appears to have just woken up behind said door, as well.]

A-AJ...?

Um... h-hey there, Sugarcube. You sure had one crazy sleep, didn't ya?

I did...? Where am I? What's going on...?

[The gear is about halfway to the door at this point.]

You passed out on us right 'bout the time we got into Celadon. We were all real worried about you.

Passed out...? The comas!

[Twilight's voice suddenly gets much stronger and there's the sound of a sudden splash, as though she's just moving around in a pool of water.]

I had one! I went back home! Well... sort of. You know what I mean, right?

I... think so?

I saw so much... My brother, and Cadence, the Crystal Empire, even Discord, there's so much to... Um, AJ?

Discord? What in tarnation's he doin' back? We sealed him up for good!

I'll explain that in a moment, but first... what were you doing just before I woke up?

... Givin' you a bath.

[The gear has almost reached the door, when suddenly a large yellow foot slams down in front of it. It wobbles and falls to the ground, showing an Alakazam glaring down at a Slowpoke, which was carrying the gear.]

And what do you think you're doing?

[The gear floats up into Starswirl's hand...]

Apologies to any who saw this and wanted to speak to my trainer. She is currently occupied, but will be with you shortly.

[And clicks off.]

A few moments later...

[The gear clicks on to show a wet haired and slightly bedraggled Twilight.]

Ah, hello everyone. It seems I've encountered one of those week-long sleeps that we go into on occasion, and gotten some new memories of home. Honestly, it feels a bit strange to be back here... but I'll adjust soon enough. If anything important has happened in the past week, I'd appreciate it if somepo- someone could let me know.

... Also, if anyone has any ideas as to how to curb the tendencies of some Pokemon to abscond with peoples' gear and pull, or try to pull, obnoxious pranks on their trainers and others, I'd love to hear them.

Well... as odd as it is to say given what he did, it turns out, he just needed a friend. Fluttershy took him in after we released him on Princess Celestia's order, and she managed to get him to actually care about her and her opinion of him, and when he realized that she'd never consider him a friend if he kept doing horrible things... well, he realized he had no choice but to stop.

I'm not really sure, to be honest. I should really see what Celadon has to offer before I make a decision.

I have heard of those week-long periods of unconsciousness, but I've never really experienced one. How do they go, exactly...? Well, in any case, nothing particularly exciting has happened this week, so it isn't as though you've missed anything.

...as for your second question, that really has only been a problem for me once, and it never happened again after a good scolding.

Well aside from the gym and the department store, Celadon is most known for being Kanto's leading center for fashion. There are enough boutiques, massage parlors, and spas to make Rarity positively giddy. Then there's the greenhouse attached to the gym, which is free access, and the branch of the Breeding Centre that's in Kanto... Oh! And Riku's Training Center.

You're not the only one. Until it happened, he was kind of my benchmark for pure, unrepentant evil.

... Guess I'll have to replace him with the Changeling Queen and Sombra.

...Because I really wanna look Riku in the eyes again after that whuppin' he handed me.

Haha, yeah! Now I can't get him back for tricking me by giving me my wings back in the labyrinth.

This would be the first one I've experienced. Basically, what happened from my perspective was that I fell asleep here, and promptly woke up in my own world, with no memory of this one except as a vague dream. I then spent roughly a year back in my own world as normal, until apparently this world had decided I had "caught up" to events back in my own, and brought me back here.

Unfortunately, scolding doesn't seem to be enough for Snails. He keeps falling asleep in the middle of it. I really wouldn't have expected this sort of thing from a Slowpoke...

... Well, the longer we stay in Celadon, the more likely it is you'll run into him again, you know.

I'm gonna need some time before I run into him again. That was just... embarrassin'.

But goin' t'see the gym's greenhouse sounds like fun.

Well let's see... the last thing you remember was the Pinkies, right? After that, there was Apple Bloom's cousin Babs Seed coming to Ponyville, which I didn't know much about until after it had all happened, you'd have to ask AJ for more on that. Oh, and then about a week later, Trixie came back to Ponyville!

...Trixie came back? That wannabe who thought she was better than you? How'd you beat her flank this time around? Details!

That sounds like an idea! We can pick up some flowers for Fluttershy while we're there.

Well, she'd found the Alicorn Amulet, an ancient relic of great and terrible power that strengthened her magic to absurd levels. She managed to overcome me with it and forced me out of Ponyville, after which she took over the town. She was being corrupted by the Amulet to become not only stronger, but also genuinely evil, and there didn't seem to be much we could do to stop her.

But I made my way to Zecora's, and she showed me some new tricks I could use to take her on. I eventually tricked her into thinking I'd found a powerful amulet of my own, and she took off the Amulet and stole mine. But mine was a fake. Just one of Zecora's doorstops.

We should take her along! I bet she'd love t'play with all the grass pokey-mon.

Good idea! And Rainbow... can go do something else. She'd be bored silly.

Grass types ain't exactly as thrillin' as some of the stronger types, but they sure have their uses.

And once the Amulet was out of her hooves, taking her down was no problem at all. She was pretty shocked at how far she'd gone under its influence, and actually rather apologetic for the mess she'd caused.
