[The feed clicks on to show Twilight hugging what looks like a spaceship with eyes. Looks like her Magneton finally evolved.]

[She practically giggles in glee, clambering up onto the top of her newly evolved Pokemon with a grin. The Magnezone waits for her to be settled on top of it, and then slowly rises up into the air.]

Well, no, it would be kind of difficult for a Slowpoke to do that and Megasoma digests sugar pretty quickly, so... That sort of problem is more likely to come from my Zubat, Echo.

Not exactly. They're the final evolution of Magenemite, but it requires a stone from the Sinnoh region to evolve them from Magneton, and it's not exactly cheap.

Huh. Didn't know those lumps of steel could actually turn into something like that.

[he's now thinking of catching one too...]

Didn't check the Pokedex on them, huh?

[She may be feeling just a bit smug about having one of the only (possibly the only) Pokespaceships among the arrivals.]

You're not the only one, in fact I really don't think I've seen anyone else with one of their line around. I'm pretty surprised they've been overlooked for this long.

...Probably because there's a lot more... different-looking Electric Types than this guy, but I'm not sure myself.

It's true that Electric types are common... but this combination is unique, and very powerful. It only has three weaknesses, and it has twelve resistances.

...The only type I can think of that has a lot of resistance like that would be a Steel-type.

[HM... Which means it's probably a mix of them...]

If that's the case, wouldn't hurt to take a hike to wherever Magnemites live in this region after all.

Exactly. They're Electric/Steel.

And you can find them in the Routes between Ecruteak and Olivine, or near the Power Plant in Kanto.
