Well, we have a few options, and that's one of the reasons I'm bringing this up now.
We could head south, back to Violet City, and make a quick loop through there, Azalea, and Goldenrod so I can pick up those badges. We probably won't spend all that much time in any of those cities if we go that route.
Or we could go east, through Mount Mortar, and swing into Mahogany Town. If we go that way it'll take us a while, because we'll have to first get through the mountain, and then stay in Mahogany until I've trained up enough to beat the gym leader there, who's very tough.
And then there's west, where Olivine and Cianwood are. That's heading out to the ocean, so we'll be ending up riding Spike across the sea to Cianwood once we're done with Olivine, and then we'll have to turn around and come back. We'll probably be out there for a few weeks to just over a month, I'm thinking.
